Dusty Rhodes Passes Away

The IWA was saddened to learn earlier today that WWE Hall of Famer and former 3x NWA World Champion Virgil Runnels, better known as Dusty Rhodes, has passed away at the age of 69.

Dusty Rhodes held virtually every major NWA Title being a former TV, United States, 6-Man Tag, World Tag & World Heavyweight Champion among numerous other regional and international championships.

His long and storied career culminated with him passing along his knowledge and wisdom for the business he loved so much to the next generation of stars in the WWE Performance Center and NXT.
